Mike Dowling, the company’s principal and registered agent, first started his working career in 1973 with a background in Stock & Station agency work. Within six years Mike was selling a wide variety of residential and farming properties throughout the Adelaide Hills and surrounding districts. Mike Dowling then established his own Real Estate Company, at Strathalbyn, in July 1983 when daughter Bonnie was only 3 months old.

Dowling City Country opened the Mitcham office in June 2004. With this Office being strategically placed in a convenient near city location, Mike and Bonnie can deliver to their Adelaide suburban vendors sound advice, precise attention to detail, and the necessary follow up that all Real Estate Sellers truly deserve.

Bonnie Dowling is fully qualified in Real Estate Sales having completed the Australian Vocational Training System (AVTS) Certificate IV in 2003. Bonnie has become an integral part of the family business working alongside Mike always endeavouring to bring together Real Estate Sellers and Buyers alike.

Kees Van Voorst (a Registered Land Agent in his own right) now resides in beautiful Strathalbyn after operating his own Real Estate Agency in the State’s South East for many years. Kees oversees the Company’s renowned Strathalbyn (and local districts) operations. Kees Van Voorst is a great negotiator. With his wonderful people skills and vast Real Estate knowledge Kees is yet another sales asset for Dowling City Country.
